This is the canal in Grand Rapids, Ohio.  The canal is frozen solid!  This HDR Picture was taken last weekend, I expected the water in the canal and in the Maumee River to be much higher.  I’m sure once the snow and ice start to melt that flooding will be an issue in this area.  But for now the towpath is open and it is quite a nice winter hike.
